Hello! We’re so excited to introduce you to There’s A Way Studios, an independent game studio based in British Columbia. Our names are Will and Will– welcome to the adventure!

Hello there!
Originally from Cambridgeshire in the UK, I have a background in art and philosophy and have spent most of my working life as some variety of teacher. I have also been lucky enough to have lived and worked in Europe, Asia and now Vancouver, Canada.
In my travels, tabletop games have been an important part of building connections with the people I meet. Whether it’s a game of cards at a bar, chess to keep in touch with friends and family around the world, or a session of D&D (or similar) among friends, games have a way of drawing people together in a way that transcends language barriers.
Games grant us an escape from the everyday and allow us to experience incredible stories. They give us opportunities to explore ideas beyond our own experiences or to delve into our own rich inner worlds. We can build fantastic worlds and embark on epic quests from the comfort of our homes.
There’s A Way Studios is the banner under which Will Primrose and I have joined forces with the mission of making great games that provoke interesting stories; a place where we can bring the games we wish we could play to life.
If you share our love of stories and characters, of escapism and exploration, of introspection and empathy; then these games are for you. And we’re so happy that you’re here to play them.
Will Primrose
Hi folks! I grew up in the interior of BC and moved to Vancouver in 2020 to begin a Ph.D. in chemistry. I’ve always loved science and pursuing a career in STEM has always felt right. That said, I love having a work life balance and relaxation for me has always been engaging in creativity. For a long time, my creative outlet was writing stories, then poetry, and then world-building for Dungeons and Dragons campaigns. For me, the world of tabletop roleplaying games brings together the best of all of my hobbies: creativity, collaboration, and games. I love playing games with friends, and it was only a matter of time before I got involved with game design. I had thought about designing my own system for a long time but never took the plunge. Thankfully, I met Will who was in a similar boat! We decided to keep each other motivated, and thus began There’s A Way Studios. We are determined to make games that we are excited to play, and in turn we hope you’ll be excited to play too! Thanks for joining us on this adventure, we’re so glad to have you!
